Dr. Moredreck Chibi is an internationally recognized thought leader in public health innovation, currently driving strategic initiatives in the WHO European Region, where he has coordinated the development of a 2025–2030 strategy for harnessing innovation for public health, as well as an innovation agenda for the region. Previously, Dr. Chibi served as Regional Adviser for Science and Innovation at WHO Africa, where he pioneered Africa’s first regional Strategy for Scaling Health Innovations and chaired a UN coalition advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through science and digital transformation. With over twenty years of experience in research, development, and policy innovation across WHO regional offices and headquarters, he is known for launching large-scale challenges, building public health innovation platforms, and fostering international collaborations. Dr. Chibi holds a PhD in Medical Biosciences, a Swiss Executive MBA in Innovation Management, and an MPH from Imperial College London. His passion lies in advancing evidence-driven, equitable innovations that address global health needs in diverse contexts.
